![]() ![]() :-)īut apart from the VCO no other modules yet. One weekend later, my 6U 84HP case was ready. During the planning, I realized that I want a flexible mounting for the rack rails, so I ordered 2 sets of TipTop Audio Z-Ears. ![]() In the next days a made a plan for a 6U case, the wood parts I got exactly sawed in the hardware store. I started with a Doepfer A-110-2 Basic VCO (buyed on friday morning at Schneidersladen, directly after visiting thursday SUPERBOOTH ) and a Doepfer A-100 DIY-Kit#1 (ordered in parallel at Thomann, because Schneidersladen was out of stock). Things I wish I knew to purchase when getting the Boomstar - 16 to 10 pin ribbon adapters and extra eurorack screws! It will be mounted into one of my 6U racks, but now I have 84hp of empty space plus the Moog can waiting to be filled like the money vortex we all know it is! A few days ago I took my first sip of th modular Kool-Aid and purchased a Happy Ending kit and a Boomstar Oscillation to fatten up the Moog with a second oscillator. I bought the M32 back in February of this year. Right after that Moog released the Mother-32. My downfall started with the movie I Dream Of Wires. During the same time I picked up a BeatStep, then BeatStep Pro, followed by a MiniBrute and two KeySteps. ![]() Editing the MOPHO is, well, a mopho so I pretty much stuck to the presets.Īrturia really opened up the synth world for me and in quick succession I purchaed a few of their emulations (The entire V collection) and also subscribed to Syntorial to really get under the hood. But I knew I would need an analogue synth as well. So I filled up a couple of racks with Roland (JV-8 plus expansion boards) and E-MU (Proteus/1, Classic Keys). My first synths were old ROMplers because I needed a wide palette of sounds really dislike Logic's stock synths! I got serious about synthesis about three years ago when I started a progressive rock project/band called AS FOLLOWS. ![]()
